Sierra Club staff and volunteers activists are working to secure an environmental legacy in Nevada and the eastern Sierra for future generations. Your generous donation will support the following activities:

Defending our environment and communities against harmful, short-sighted policies from Washington DC;
Holding your elected leaders at all levels accountable to policies that protect our precious water, promote a 100% renewable energy future, and defending our public lands against sprawl, transfer to the states, or sell-off to corporations;
Advocating for strong sustainability measures in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County planning efforts;
Protecting our precious water in Lake Tahoe, the Truckee River and throughout Nevada;
Protecting Nevada's newest national monuments, Gold Butte and Basin and Range;
Advocating for environmentally sound policies in BLM and Forest Service planning efforts;
Getting Kids Outdoors, and sharing the wonders of nature with children, families and the general public;
Designating wilderness areas in Washoe County, Clark County and elsewhere when possible.

This authorization to charge my monthly pledge to my credit card will remain in effect until I notify the Sierra Club that I wish to end this agreement and the Sierra Club has had a reasonable amount of time to fulfill my request.
Each transaction will appear on my regular credit card statement. Please keep a copy of this authorization for your records.

Note: Contributions, gifts, and dues to the Sierra Club are not tax deductible. They support our effective, citizen-based advocacy and lobbying efforts. Your dues include $7.50 for your subscription to Sierra Magazine and $1 for your Chapter newsletter.
